Prior to the building of St Patrick's church and the establishment of the Cemetery on the church grounds there had been no formally established cemetery in northwest Greene County. As other cemeteries were established most bodies were exhumed and reburied elsewhere.
The first burial in the cemetery was Jeremiah Mackey in 1873.
Purchase lot fees: Single Plot/lot Size is 4’ by 12’ is $200. Double Plot/lot Size is 8’ by 12’ is $400.
Maintenance fee for Perpetual Care is $400.00 required for all burials. At time of burial send funds for Perpetual Care Maintenance to:

Two (2) Urns may be buried on each gravesite all are subject to maintenance assessment. Surface markers must mark the individual cremains if more that one burial is made on a gravesite.
If the headstone covers 2 gravesites all cremains must be buried separately using all gravesites.
An infant may be buried at the foot of a relative’s gravesite without a maintenance fee.
The maintenance of an individual gravestone is the responsibility of the family of the deceased.
St Patrick’s Perpetual Care Cemetery allows burial of life partners on the grounds of the cemetery if the parties are in good standing with all the current fees and charges paid in full.
All transfer of ownership must be reported to the cemetery board for the proper registration and reissue of deed.
No permanent trees shrubs or ornamentals may be planted on the gravesites.
